I have been working with sacred medicine practices in the Sacred Valley with dedication for several years and have facilitated medicine retreats and organised ceremonies and events from which I have the privilege of meeting with traditional shamans and medicine workers. I have worked regularly with all sacred medicine shamans that I would recommend to others. These spirit guides hold the highest integrity with the medicine space and continue to facilitate incredible results for those who are dedicated to their own practices. It is a pleasure for me to invite others into the sacred medicine space. Below are the practices that I am comfortable in discussing, co-attending and facilitating. Please feel free to ask me if you have any further questions. All attendees will be required to complete a medical questionnaire before booking.
Sacred Medicine
Shamanic ceremonies based around traditional practices & entheogens
Kambo
Kambo is a traditional healing ritual performed in many South American countries. A shaman healer performs the ceremony, which involves burning the person’s shoulder, leg, or foot, and then applying a kambo secretion to the wound. These burns may leave scars.
Kambo is a poisonous substance that the giant monkey frog secretes. People sometimes refer to this animal as the giant leaf frog. Its scientific name is Phyllomedusa bicolor. The giant monkey frog is native to the Amazon rainforest. They reside in parts of Brazil, Peru, and Venezuela. People in many cultures revere giant monkey frogs for their healing abilities. Proponents use the kambo medicine to purify the physical body of toxic substances, as well as purify the mind and spirit of negative energy.
Sananga
Sananga has been used traditionally by indigenous tribes in the Amazon region for thousands of years. Sananga is primarily used for healing and spiritual purposes, but it also has a range of other effects on the body and mind. These include:
1. Improved vision: Sananga is known to enhance visual acuity and clarity, making it a popular remedy for eye infections and vision problems.
2. Increased energy: Many users report feeling a surge of energy and heightened focus after using Sananga, making it a popular choice for those looking to boost their productivity and mental alertness.
3. Pain relief: Sananga has analgesic properties and can help relieve pain and inflammation, making it a natural alternative to over-the-counter pain medications.
4. Spiritual growth: Sananga is often used in shamanic ceremonies and spiritual practices to facilitate personal transformation, expand consciousness, and connect with the spiritual realm.
5. Emotional healing: Some users report feeling a sense of emotional release and healing after using Sananga, making it a valuable tool for processing trauma and emotional blockages.
6. Immune support: Sananga has antibacterial properties and can help boost the immune system, making it a useful remedy for fighting off infections and illnesses.
Overall, Sananga is a versatile and powerful plant medicine that can benefit both the body and mind in a variety of ways. Whether used for physical healing, spiritual growth, or personal transformation, Sananga has the potential to help individuals tap into their inner wisdom and navigate their life’s journey with clarity and purpose.
Rapé
Rapé is one of these psychotropic substances. Used for thousands of years for sacred and spiritual practices, this tobacco-based snuff provides a slew of benefits. The frequency and intention of using rapé vary by group or tribe. It’s used before breakfast and dinner by some, in a rapé-only ceremony by others, and many ways in between.
People often feel more grounded during the experience, allowing them to clear up confusions or discomfort about an issue they may have been experiencing.
Through forcing a release of toxins, mucus, and other unwanted things in the body, Rapé helps purify your system. This strengthens your immunity and especially helps with congestion problems. Along with this, the body can release physical tensions, resulting in a relaxed, peaceful state.
